How do you wall mount a TV
Step-by-Step Guide:
Choose the Right Mount
Select a wall mount compatible with your TV size and weight.
Decide on a fixed, tilting, or full-motion bracket.
Find the Right Wall Location
Consider viewing height—eye level when seated is ideal.
Locate wall studs using a stud finder (for drywall installations) or ensure the wall can support the weight (brick, concrete, etc.).
Mark Drill Points
Hold the wall mount against the wall and mark the screw hole locations with a pencil.
Use a level to ensure it's perfectly straight.
Drill the Holes
Drill pilot holes into the marked spots.
If mounting on drywall, use heavy-duty wall anchors if studs aren’t available.
Attach the Mounting Bracket
Secure the bracket to the wall using the provided screws and bolts.
Double-check that it is firmly fixed and level.
Attach the Mounting Plate to the TV
Secure the bracket arms or plate to the back of the TV using the screws provided.
